Hello, everyone!
First of all, thank you for playing the Demo and sharing your feedback with us. Your comments have helped us identify many areas where the game can still be improved.
And today—
The Lantern Lane Demo has officially been updated to v0.4!
This update brings a visual overhaul to the Market map, an updated shop interface, improvements to the tutorial, several UI/UX improvements, and further refinements to the game’s localization and overall performance.
Here are the full details:
Market Map Visual Overhaul
We have given the Market map a complete visual upgrade, improving its decorations, lighting, environmental rendering, and other scene details.
We hope the refreshed Marketplace will provide a more enjoyable atmosphere as you manage and expand your businesses.
Shop Interface Update
Updated the overall layout and visual presentation of the shop interface
Added information showing your remaining funds after each purchase to the shop’s Intel panel
You can now understand your current financial situation more easily and plan your purchases of buildings and employees with greater confidence.
New UI/UX Features
Added an eye-shaped button that allows you to show or hide the name labels of buildings and employees
You can now press Tab to quickly open or close the shop
When too many name labels are displayed and begin to obstruct the view, you can use the eye button to hide them and keep the screen clear.
Default Keybind Changes
To make frequently used actions more convenient, we have adjusted several default keybinds:
The default pause key has been changed from ~ to Space
Tab can now be used to open or close the shop
Players who have already tried an earlier version of the Demo may want to take note of these updated controls.
Tutorial Improvements
We have revised and improved the overall flow of the tutorial map, including the order of certain instructions, control prompts, and tutorial content.
We hope the updated tutorial will help new players understand the game’s core mechanics and business-management loop more easily.
Localization Improvements
We have further revised and improved the game’s localization, including various text descriptions, translations, and display issues.
We are still working to improve the game’s different language versions. If you encounter any translation errors or unnatural wording while playing, please feel free to let us know.
Performance Improvements and Bug Fixes
Reduced the game’s installation size
Fixed several known bug
Improved various aspects of the game’s content and overall performance
The Lantern Lane Demo is still in active development, and we sincerely appreciate everyone who has played the game, shared feedback, and supported us along the way!
If you encounter any problems in the new version or have suggestions for the game, please let us know in the comments or through our player community.
