We are very happy to announce that, the demo for our ancient-style management roguelike game Lantern Lane is now officially available. You are welcome to download and try it out!
In this demo, you will get an early look at the core gameplay loop:
- Place buildings
- Recruit employees
- Serve customers
- Refresh the shop
- Build different strategies to earn more coin
This demo includes:
- 20+ available buildings
- 50+ recruitable employees
- 2 playable maps
- Some customer professions and status systems
- The early-game core management loop
Lantern Lane is a management roguelike set in a fictional ancient world. You need to run your venue within a limited time, place businesses, assign employees, attract customers, and earn enough tribute before time runs out.
The shop changes every run, so you will need to adapt based on the buildings and employees you find, and decide how to make money in each round.
Please note that this demo is still in development. Some art, numbers, balance, UI, tutorials, and gameplay details may continue to change. The content in this demo does not represent the final quality or full scope of the complete game. If you encounter any bugs or have any feedback while playing, feel free to submit it through the in-game feedback feature.
