Thank you for downloading "Animal UFO."
We are pleased to announce that the Ver1.2.0 update is now complete.
This update includes adjustments to controls and new strategic elements to ensure a smoother and deeper gameplay experience.
We hope you enjoy the all-new "Animal UFO."
🔷 Hover Charge and Hover Turbo Implemented 🔷

The "Hover Mode" introduced in the previous update has been powered up!
From this update, pressing the "R button" allows you to rush forward while maintaining your speed and altitude.
Furthermore, maintaining this state for a certain period enables the powerful "Hover Turbo!"
🛠️ Button Assignment & Specification Changes
The controls have been updated as follows for a more intuitive experience:
Before: Hold the "Y button" to switch to "Hover Mode" and maintain altitude.
After: Hold the "R button" to switch to "Hover Charge" to maintain altitude, and trigger the "Turbo."
🚀 New Action Details
Hover Charge: A technique to rush straight ahead while fully maintaining your speed and altitude.
Hover Turbo Branching: Releasing the button after maintaining the charge for a certain period activates the ultra-powerful "Hover Turbo."
3-Stage Power-Up: The color of the sparks changes from Blue ➡️ Green ➡️ Red depending on the charge time, strengthening the power in 3 stages!
🔷 Aiming for Thrown Items Now Available 🔷

In previous updates, the throwing direction of items was determined by the character's facing direction.
From this update, items such as "Chicken Gum" and "Angry Gum" can be thrown in any direction using the stick, improving the game tempo!
Controls: Use the stick to intuitively specify the forward or backward throwing direction.
Guide Implementation: Guide arrows will appear for items with adjustable throwing directions (an option to toggle the guide on/off is planned).
Please note that the aiming controls are currently exclusive to controllers.
We plan to update the keyboard controls so that players can aim and throw toward the mouse cursor position.
This will be implemented alongside the mobile version, so please stay tuned for future updates!
🛠️ Control Button Unification & Specification Changes
With the implementation of the new "Hover Charge" action, item controls have been updated as follows:
Before: "R Button for forward throw / L Button for backward throw"
After: Item usage and throwing direction controls are fully unified to the "L Button."

In addition, NPC intelligence has been enhanced with this update.
If you are confident in your skills, utilize the new controls and techniques to aim for 1st place!
*The implementation of basic actions and changes to the control methods are now fully complete with this update.
🔷 Regarding the Test Implementation of "Angry Status" (With Important Notices) 🔷

We have newly implemented the "Angry Status" system as a countermeasure against death combos from consecutive hits, unreasonable interference in online matches, and focused attacks.
*Please note that this feature is a "temporary implementation (test phase)" with only basic adjustments made.
⚠️ Notices Regarding the "Fury-Fever" Specifications
Due to development schedules, this Ver1.2.0 release features the following restricted specifications.
Please note that the final version will be implemented in the next update.
Currently triggers only when the skill is equipped: In the final version, this will be a default feature that triggers for all players without needing any skills. However, in the current version, "Angry Status" will only trigger when the new skill "Fury-Fever" is equipped.
Discrepancy in the in-game description: The in-game text for "Fury-Fever" states that "Angry Status is further powered up and negates Miracle Star." Please note that this specific effect is currently unimplemented (has no effect).
We plan to update this to its intended specifications (making it a default feature + further power-ups when the skill is equipped) in a future update.
We will continue to balance the game based on your play data and feedback.
😡 Overview of "Angry Status (Fury-Fever)" in the Current Version
With the new skill "Fury-Fever" equipped, taking consecutive damage will trigger the "Angry Status."
Increased Mobility: Mobility is increased for a certain period, making it easier to recover your footing.
Negates Dirt Slowdown: Move through dirt without losing speed, allowing for shortcuts.
Negation of Certain Items: While active, you will not receive effects from certain attack items, such as "Chicken Gum."
🔷 All 27 Types of Skills Have Been Implemented 🔷

🛠️ How to Equip Skills
You can freely change your equipped skills via the Title Menu by navigating to "Animal Company" ➡️ "UFO Customization."
As part of our Early Access Campaign, all skills will continue to be exchangeable for "1,000 Candies" even after the "Ver1.2.0" update.
🚀 Introducing the New Skill "Item-Snatcher"
This is a highly powerful skill that allows you to steal an item held by a rival animal by ramming into them while dashing with items like the "Power Apple" or going through a "Dash Ring!"
*Please note that you cannot steal items through collisions via "Hover Turbo," or if the opponent has the "Item-Saver" skill equipped. (Please check the in-game skill descriptions for more details).
⚠️ Regarding the Postponement of the "Candy-Craze"
The "Candy-Craze" skill, which was originally scheduled to be implemented in this version, has been temporarily postponed due to the prioritized implementation of the "Item-Snatcher" skill mentioned above.
🔷 Bug Fixes & Feature Improvements Notice 🔷
We have fixed bugs and improved in-game behaviors based on reports received from our players via reviews and the community.
🐞 Bug Fixes
Controller (Gamepad) Issue: Fixed a bug where the on-screen mouse cursor would disappear when a controller was connected.
"Skeleton Ice" Collision Bug: Fixed a bug where the hit detection (collision detection) would fail to return to normal when using the "Skeleton Ice" item while in contact with a wall.
Stage Collision Adjustments: Adjusted the knockback detection for certain blocks.
⚠️ "Miracle Star" Behavior Improvements (Under Verification)
We have implemented improvements for the bug where the game would fail to return to normal after receiving the "Miracle Star" item. *Please note that since this issue has only been confirmed under extremely specific conditions (irregular environments), it is difficult to verify if it has been completely fixed. Therefore, there is a possibility that the bug may reoccur. If you experience the same phenomenon after the update, we would highly appreciate it if you could report the situation via the community or reviews.
🤖 NPC (CPU) Behavior Improvements
We have updated the NPC obstacle avoidance algorithm to mitigate behavior where NPCs get repeatedly stuck on the same wall.
Additionally, we plan to implement features to change NPC levels and difficulty settings in a future update, so please stay tuned.
🌌 Pre-Implementation of the Planet Selection Screen (Update)

To test the User Interface (UI), we have implemented the Planet Selection Screen ahead of schedule. However, please note that selecting any planet (course) will currently still take you to the same shared "Test Course."
Once the development of the core game systems is complete, we will begin working on the level design for each individual course.
We appreciate your patience and support as we continue to build the game!
🔷 From the Developer 🔷
Once again, thank you very much for sharing your valuable reviews and feedback with us.
We are truly grateful for all of your reviews, whether positive or critical.
Initially, we planned to implement features like skills in smaller, separate batches. However, because we chose to implement all skills and fine-tune general behaviors at once, it has taken some time since our last update.
"Animal UFO" is still in the middle of development, and there are many areas that need further polish. Nevertheless, with the strong desire to "one day enjoy heated online battles with all of you," our small team will continue to put our absolute best effort into improving and developing the game.
