TOOSIN Version 1.1.1 Hotfix

Release Date: August 24, 2026

Hello, this is the developer of TOOSIN.

This hotfix focuses on save data protection, separation of Ranked Mode and campaign progression, AI combat stability, DLSS and Frame Generation compatibility, Steam integration, and multilingual UI improvements.

Save Data and Progression Stability

• The game now creates a recovery backup whenever your progress is saved.
• If the primary save file is missing or cannot be loaded correctly, the game will automatically attempt to recover it from the backup.
• Starting a new game and deleting save data will now remove both the primary save file and its backup.
• Fixed an issue where losing a Ranked Match could reset campaign traits, perks, and level progression.
• Combat records from Ranked Mode, Mock Battles, Infinite Mode, and the tutorial are now stored separately so they do not affect campaign AI learning data.

AI and Combat Stability

• Added recovery measures for several rare situations where enemy AI could stop responding while guarding, attacking, backstepping, dodging forward, or using special abilities.
• Fixed an issue where enemies without the required dodge animation could consume stamina or become stuck in an incorrect state.
• Fixed an issue where the movement frequency of guarding AI could vary depending on the display refresh rate.
• Improved invasion events so that player input and combat are properly restored if character spawning fails or the invasion target disappears during preparation.

Graphics Option Compatibility

• The game now verifies whether DLSS and Frame Generation modes are supported by the current GPU and resolution before applying them.
• Unsupported settings will now safely revert to the default rendering method.
• Fixed an issue where the frame-rate limit and VSync settings were not properly restored after disabling Frame Generation.

Steam, UI, and Localization Improvements

• Reorganized the initialization process so that Steam statistics and achievements are loaded after Steam sign-in is complete.
• Statistics and achievement updates are now processed in batches. Failed requests will be retried, and any remaining updates will be completed before the game closes.
• Improved leaderboard avatar requests and texture cache cleanup, reducing the chance of incorrect avatars appearing after screen transitions and preventing unnecessary memory accumulation.
• On first launch, the game will automatically select one of the supported languages based on the system language: Korean, English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, or Russian.
• Fixed several gamepad prompts, rank labels, and stage messages that appeared in Korean regardless of the selected language.
• Improved the Infinite Mode entry screen, prevented duplicate menu inputs, and restored UI focus correctly after closing the Credits screen.

Performance Optimizations

• Reduced unnecessary continuous Tick processing and repeated searches related to AI sampling, weapon collision checks, guarding, spectators, the HUD, and global font handling.
• Improved cleanup of completed requests and cached resources during combat and screen transitions.

Developer’s Note

This hotfix focuses on protecting player progression, preventing data from other modes from affecting the campaign, and improving stability during extended play sessions across a wider range of PC configurations.

Thank you to everyone who reported issues and shared feedback. We will continue improving the combat experience and AI learning systems.
