Hello everyone!
This new update is one of the biggest since the launch of Early Access.
It introduces a brand new turret type, major improvements to Hard Mode, several UI overhauls, optimizations, balance changes, new features, and numerous bug fixes.
Trap Turrets are here!
A brand new turret category is making its debut in Architect of War!
Unlike traditional turrets, Trap Turrets are placed directly on the enemy path, damaging enemies as they pass over them.
The first member of this new family is the Doom Grinder, a magical trap that continuously deals Blood damage to every enemy within its area of effect.
Like every other turret, it comes with:
Its own Leader.
Its own Talent Tree.
Its own Rarity upgrades.

Hard Mode keeps evolving
Since its release, Hard Mode has received a lot of feedback, and this update brings a major round of improvements.
Some of the biggest changes include:
A brand new tutorial dedicated to Hard Mode.
Much clearer visual indicators when your turrets are affected by elemental debuffs.
A complete overhaul of the repair, freeze, overload, and discharge indicators.
Charge and Overheat levels are now displayed directly in the turret panel.
Reduced prices for Elemental and Detection Modules.
Detection Modules are now available for all non military turrets.
Several balance adjustments to make Hard Mode more enjoyable without reducing its challenge.

A cleaner interface
Many parts of the interface have been redesigned.
Some of the biggest improvements include:
A redesigned turret purchase panel in the Market.
A new enemy introduction panel.

Reworked several tooltips and improved overall readability.

The Market expands
The Market has been redesigned to welcome the six new turrets.
