MEGACITY v1.22.9 Build 34
Build 34 expands city operations with playable Harbor Operations, supervised service robotics, clearer district planning, and more control over your forces. It also improves mining forecasts, supply accounting, and save -city recovery.
New Field Programs: Harbor Operations and Service Robotics
The new Field Programs command window introduces two operational systems:
Harbor Operations: Commission facilities, recruit and train crews, manufacture modules and three harbor craft, conduct patrols and flood responses, survey recovery sites, and repair worn vessels.
Service Robotics: Research and manufacture five unarmed service blueprints, then dispatch available units to eligible district assignments for civic works, public health, and community care.
These programs use your city’s existing resources. Equipment, crews, research, and mission progress persist across saves.
Deep-water vessel designs remain reference-only. Deep-fleet production and combat are not implemented.
District cards now explain baseline needs, designation projects, work in progress, housing, businesses, and local revenue. Eligible districts can opt into paced automatic development.
Medical care coverage is clearer across construction, district readouts, and Overview. Military infirmary and field hospital facilities provide treatment capacity separate from civilian hospital beds.
District waste readouts now track recorded sources, storage, capacity shortfalls, and processing through compatible completed facilities.
Mineral and fuel deposits have substantially larger reserves, with existing saves preserving their remaining deposit fraction. Mining readouts show effective extraction, remaining deposits, estimated lifetime, and scheduled shutdowns.
Stalled mines no longer consume deposits while producing nothing. Transition notices report when extraction stalls or resumes, and eligible exhausted sites offer a one-time survey.
Newly extracted and allied-zone steel now enters the capped construction reserve correctly, without also crediting the generic stockpile.
Overview also summarizes the last turn’s stockpile gains, losses, and recorded causes. Economy adds feminine-hygiene supply and delivery based subsidy accounting, while ordnance panels provide clearer production and storage controls.
World Map encounters can be resumed in Strategy when eligible, or resolved through local engage, retreat, and surrender orders.
Eligible local battles now offer specialized ammunition choices, showing available rounds, costs, modeled effects, and civilian risks. Ordinary Engage remains available without special ammunition.
Strategy adds clearer vehicle operator and weapon-station inspection, firing blockers, and recorded last crew decisions. Personal guards and officer escorts can accompany eligible city-origin battles.
Force Organization gains fleet stationing and recall, clearer availability reporting, and commander-assignment guidance. Retinue controls add recruitment budgets, target strength, troop-class priorities, and leadership-vacancy tools.
Refreshing an in-game screen now restores the selected saved city as an active session without requiring a trip through Continue. Slot selection is preserved, including after Save As. And failed loads offer recovery controls.
Other improvements include:
Persistent research queues with clearer status explanations.
Better council appointment and rivalry information.
Full-row welfare and social-policy selection targets.
Safer keyboard shortcuts and smaller-screen battle controls.
Clearer save failures and protection for committed district forces.
Political Intelligence, Counter Terrorism, difficulty-rule changes, and deep-water naval operations remain under development. The World Map’s **“(Marked for demolition)”** label is a notice only; it does not remove the map or introduce demolition mechanics.
Thank you for playing MEGACITY and helping improve its systems through your feedback.
