This is a big leap.
0.10.1 is the moment D.A.N stops being a demo and becomes a real alpha, the first build that actually shows you what this game is meant to be.
What's new:
- The campaign is unlocked : structured, chapter-based progression instead of an infinite sandbox. D.A.N is a narrative tower defense, and this is where the story starts.
- Meet Dan : the character the game is named after steps into it.
- Subtitled dialogue : the world begins to tell its own story.
- A guided, teaching-first ramp : towers by step, tutorial-style, instead of dumping everything on you at once. You learn the game as it opens up to you.
- A locked-in direction : this build sets the art direction, the tone, and the overall experience I want D.A.N to deliver. What you're seeing is the vision, not a placeholder.
This marks the shift from rough demo to genuine alpha, you can feel where the whole thing is headed, and there's much more on the way.
Your feedback is what drives this forward. Tell me what lands, what doesn't, and what leaves you curious. Thanks for playing.
