Hello everyone!
First of all, I want to thank you all for the incredible support during the launch weeks of UrbanRail Metro Simulator. As an independent developer, it's a huge step forward for me to have your support.
I’ve been reading all your feedback in the forums, and I’m already working hard on the upcoming October Update to keep improving the simulation. Here is a quick preview of what’s coming at the beginning of October:
🛠️ Upcoming October Patch Notes (Preview):
[FIXED #009]: Fixed a train collision issue on Line E.
[IMPROVED]: Improved the braking system on trains. Now the number of passengers on the train will influence braking and acceleration capabilities (previously this only worked on the Fiat Materfer as a test).
[IMPROVED]: Reduced the difficulty of some missions that were too complicated on Line C.
[ADDED]: Added new missions with the Fiat Materfer and Alstom Metropolis trains.
[ADDED]: A checkmark has been added to the missions menu to indicate whether a mission has been completed.
[ADDED]: New passenger skins have been added.
[ADDED]: Steam Achievements have been added. Many more will be added progressively over time.
📈 A Quick Request: Help UrbanRail Grow!
As we approach the Steam Autumn Sale, I have a small but vital goal for the game. Steam's algorithm requires a minimum of 10 reviews from direct Steam purchases to start actively recommending indie games to a wider audience. Currently, UrbanRail has 5 direct reviews.
If you are enjoying the simulator, please consider taking a minute to leave an honest review on our Steam store page. Your feedback doesn't just motivate me to keep programming; it directly unlocks the visibility we need to keep this project moving forward.
Thank you for being part of the journey and for keeping the network moving! More updates are coming very soon.
