Hello Survivors!
We're continuing to improve the overall gameplay experience based on testing and feedback. Here are some of the latest changes coming to the next update:
New Key Rebinding Options
You will now be able to change your W, A, S, D movement keys directly in the options menu, allowing for greater control customization.
Free Camera Keybind
A new Free Camera feature has been added. By default, it is assigned to J, but like other controls, it can be changed to any key you prefer.
Loot Balance Adjustments
We've removed some loot crates that were providing weapons that were too powerful too early in progression. This should help create a more balanced survival experience and make high-end weapons feel more rewarding to obtain.
HUD & Compass Improvements
The new compass system will now automatically hide when the HUD is disabled, providing a cleaner screen for players who enjoy a more immersive experience.
Thank you for continuing to test and support Not Quite Dead. More updates and improvements are on the way as we move closer to the playtest launch!
Stay safe out there,
Not Quite Dead Dev
