This update widens GPU support and smooths out the first run.
Vulkan GPU support
Playto can now run its local AI on Vulkan in addition to CUDA. If the CUDA path doesn't work on your system — for example an older NVIDIA driver you can't update — switch to Vulkan and keep running on your GPU, no driver update required. There's also a CPU mode for systems without a usable GPU. You'll be offered the switch automatically if the engine can't start, or you can pick it in Settings → Advanced.
Easier first run
- Clearer capture guidance — if Playto is reading the wrong window, it now tells you to bring your game to the front instead of silently showing nothing.
- Tutorial improvements — the built-in tutorial now covers how your game is detected, and you can re-run it any time from Settings → Advanced.
- Region reminders — a clear warning when no capture region has been set yet.
- Quick help — short explanations added to the daily review.
Fixes
- Chinese and Japanese translations now display properly — source text no longer shows through untranslated.
- Removed duplicate and leftover text in the overlay.
- Fixed cursor-follow capture during the tutorial.
- Cleaned up stray characters (such as typewriter cursors) in recognized text.
- More reliable model downloads in regions where the default source is blocked.
