Iron Bird has left Early Access. Version 1.0 is the full game: 10 aircraft with distinct weapon systems, 10 sub-units, dozens of cosmic powers, 4 acts of boss fights, and full localization in 7 languages (English, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, German).
Since launch we've already shipped three updates based on your reports:
1.0.1 - Boss Fix, Onboarding Tips & UI Readability
Fixed King Storm Caller (Act 4) entering a broken final phase with no attacks and no defeat sequence
- Post-boss selection screens no longer accept accidental confirms from combat mashing; sub-unit selection no longer closes on its own
- Onboarding tips for Graze, Charge Shot and your first Sub-unit; ship HP indicator; elite health bars; options scrollbar; Sentinel Prime homing missiles toned down
1.0.2 - Eclipse Engine Rebalance & Aircraft Discovery
Eclipse Engine (Act 3): Eclipse Lockdown starts later, gives you 4 seconds to read the safe zone, deals half the damage, and tells you what to do (MOVE TO THE GREEN ZONE!)
- Aircraft you've unlocked but never flown are marked TRY IT; the results screen reminds you what you haven't tried yet
1.0.3 - Five Aircraft Unlocked From the Start
Iron Bird, Falcon, Rayce, Vanguard and Hornet are now available from your first run. The five late-game aircraft remain unlock rewards. The free demo includes the same five.
The launch discount (-30%) runs until September 25. The demo has been updated to the current build.
If you've been playing, a Steam review - good or critical - is the single most helpful thing you can do for a one-person studio right now. Thank you.
