Thank you to everyone who joined the playtest and took the time to share feedback.
After going through a large amount of feedback, I spent some time thinking about what could realistically be improved during the current playtest period, and which change would make the biggest difference for players right away.
In the end, the part that stood out the most was the flow and structure of exploration.
Because of that, this update is focused on making exploration less cumbersome while keeping route selection meaningful and interesting.
In the new exploration system, progress moves in a single direction, without any need to backtrack.

You will also be able to preview the map during the mission review step, allowing you to check the positions of objects and look over the route in advance.

On top of that, you will be able to choose an exploration plan depending on how you want to approach the run.
If you prefer a safer route, you can choose a plan that passes through campsites more often.
Or if you want to gather more resources, you can choose a plan that goes through more treasure chests.
I am currently working to incorporate as much feedback as possible,
with the goal of releasing this update on Friday afternoon, April 17 (KST).
Since the playtest is scheduled to end on Sunday, I hope to gather feedback on the new exploration system before it concludes.
In particular, I would greatly appreciate feedback on whether the new exploration structure feels more intuitive, and whether choosing routes feels more engaging.
Once again, thank you to everyone who has played Guild of Three and shared feedback.
