🎉 Beta 3.6 — German Localization + Pre-Launch Polish!
Full German localization
The entire game is now playable in German! Menus, sidebar, codex, boon descriptions, combat logs, apotheosis narratives, and the Hero Hall — all translated and proofread. Switch language anytime in Settings → General → Language without restart.
Movement indicator
A subtle dotted line in front of the apostle now hints at their planned path. You can see right away where the apostle is heading — even at slow speeds. Toggle it off in the in-game Options tab if you prefer the original look.
Adjustable game speed (1x to 10x)
The new sidebar OPTIONS tab includes a speed picker. From normal pace up to 10x — perfect for idler fans who want to push the apostle forward or for players who enjoy slow-paced sessions.
Settings reorganized
Gameplay-affecting options (autosave, autorespawn, movement indicator, game speed) are now in-game via the new sidebar OPTIONS tab — no need to step out to the main menu. The Main-Menu settings now only host app-level preferences like language.
Hero Hall enhanced
The procedurally generated legacy texts for fallen apostles are now fully localized. Each apotheosis tells a different story based on the apostle's dominant domain (War, Mercy, Wisdom, Chaos, and 8 more).
Bug fixes & polish
- Sidebar tab hotkeys 1-5 are back
- Switched to iOS-style toggle switches for better visibility (instead of barely-visible checkboxes)
- Apostle names in the save file are now language-neutral — old saves display names in your current language automatically
Known issues / Coming up
- Map zoom (quality-of-life request)
- Tooltips for influence types
- Both planned for the next patch
Thanks to the community for the constructive feedback! The "where is the apostle moving?" reports and the speed-setting requests were key drivers of this pre-launch polish pass.
