Hi fellow managers!
We have been working super hard on fixing a lot of bugs and issues, as well as implementing some nice Quality of Life features some of you have proposed! Feel free to join our Discord to take part in the community's live discussions!
In the process we have encountered a massive bug behind the scenes. The kind of scary bug that makes us consider including in the game as a monster... but we managed to exterminate it before it caused more problems! This fierce fight has left some collateral damage, and save files will be affected by the update. We are so sorry, as this is something we always try to prevent and only do it as a last resort, but all save files will become obsolete in this update.
Hopefully this will give you a chance to start from scratch a new project with everything you have learned before. We'd love to see any parks and creations you come up with through the demo!
Here is a compilation of the changes we have been implementing the past few days for the sake of transparency:
Bugs
- The Big Bad Bug: Certain character IDs where randomly duplicating and causing confusion within the code, making workers and monsters get stuck. Hopefully this is no longer an issue!
- Demo will no longer soft lock after doing certain tutorial steps before intended.
- Break outs no longer happen more than intended.
Quality of Life
- Added a move option to the right hand information window so you can relocate buildings and decorations after the tutorial.
- Added a Kill Monster button to free space in your park. (this is a WIP system for something cooler in the future)
- Alert frequency and importance have been tweaked.
Play Monster Park Tycoon at PAX!
We're at PAX West in Seattle, WA all week, September 4-7, at the indie.io booth, Booth #316. Come and run a park with us standing over your shoulder. (We assure you this is a cultist-free zone... hehehe)

Thank you so much for your patience and support!
