Ok, that's enough out of Management. Hi, everyone! Yes, we have some news: we have a new name.
Monster Zoo Tycoon is now Monster Park Tycoon
Same game, same team, same Dark Lord. Just a name that fit way better into what we're actually building. When we started this project, "zoo" described it perfectly. Enclosures, monsters and visitors walking by going "ooooh!". But the game kept on growing... We added more enclosure variety, rides, stalls, tons of decorations for you to create your personal themed areas, until it turned into an entire park that people spend a day (or lives) in, with monsters as the main attraction.
How will this change affect you: honestly, in no way
Same monsters, same cult, same Faith, same visitors being quietly transported into a hole they will not be walking out of. It's still us! And you can just expect what you knew of about the game AND MORE!
Some exciting news!
Very soon we'll be able to tell you where you'll be able to see Monster Park Tycoon in person, and [drumroll.sfx], when you'll be able to play it! The demo we've been cooking is nearly ready for you to try, and it is coming sooner than you think. That's genuinely all we can say right now (Management is watching...), but the full announcement is coming soon!
How to be first in line for our demo
Three things, and all three take about five seconds, so... 15 seconds?:
Wishlist the game. Steam will send you a notification the moment the demo goes live, and again when the game launches. It's also one of the most useful things you can do for a small studio like ours!
Hit Follow. This one is quietly the important one. The wishlist is for launch. Follow is what makes sure posts like the one coming in a few days actually show up for you instead of getting lost.
Join our Discord! A hub where we're more in touch with the community answering on a daily basis to any questions, and when the demo is live, it's the fastest way to tell us what you like, what you want more of, and any kind of feedback or bug reports!
