The free Steam Playtest for Salt and Soil is now open. The playtest includes Jamestown Chronicle, a 30-turn scenario following the early life of one frontier family near Jamestown, beginning in 1607. Manage the household’s limited labor, secure food and materials, build the homestead, trade with the people around you, and face Family Council decisions shaped by your situation. This is an early playtest, so bugs, rough edges, and balance issues are expected. Your feedback will directly help improve the game.
