Hey all,
Quick but important patch dropping today. Got reports of the game launching stretched/distorted on some setups, and a nasty bug where alt-tabbing would shrink the whole game down into the corner of a black screen. Both are fixed now.
Also took a look at startup times while I was in there. The game was sitting on a black screen for a few seconds before anything appeared — turns out it was doing some behind-the-scenes work before even showing the window, which made it feel way slower than it actually was. Fixed that up and added a proper loading screen so you can at least see it's doing something.
Fixed:
Game launching stretched or wrong resolution on first boot
Alt-tabbing out and back causing the game to shrink into the corner
Black screen on startup lasting longer than it should
Improved:
Window now appears much sooner on launch with a loading bar instead of just... nothing
Startup initialization runs a bit faster in the background
No gameplay changes this patch — purely under the hood stuff. Let me know if anything looks off.
