If you own Quantum Chess on Steam, you now have exclusive access to the Cloud Chamber theme!
The board sits inside a particle detector, and anything that moves leaves a vapor trail behind it. A split forks into two trails, and a merge pulls them back together. A piece in superposition sheds wisps from every square it might be on.

Then you measure. A sight closes on the square, the chamber flashes, and you get your answer. The branch that didn't happen breaks apart and curls away as vapor. The one that did snaps solid.

You have access to the theme on every device, not just here on steam. Open the game from Steam once and your account carries Cloud Chamber to the web and your phone too. If your account is already linked to Steam, it's already there.
To use it: Settings, then Theme, then Cloud Chamber.
If you have reduced motion turned on, the board stays still and measurements play the usual animation.

Also in this update
This update brings everything since late August. The biggest pieces:
- Tournaments. Swiss, round robin, knockout and arena events, live or by correspondence. Anyone signed in can run one, and you get a message when your round is paired.
- A new home screen. A menu beside a living quantum board, with the game you came back for at the top. Arrow keys and controllers drive it.
- Online play in one place. Post a live or correspondence game for anyone to join, play a bot while the queue searches, and see what's waiting on you from any screen.
- Watch live games. The Watch list shows the games being played right now.
- A bigger board, about 40% larger, with the move list beside it.
- Smarter AI at Medium and Hard. It stops handing you its king and plays to the real clock.
- Threefold repetition now ends the game the way the 50-move rule does: the whole board is measured and the surviving kings decide.

Thanks for playing. Tell us what you think in the discussions or on Discord.
