We’ve been grinding overtime for two weeks straight just to polish the game, aiming to get it into your hands by this weekend.
Never thought we’d get stuck in Steam's review process like this... is this the true rites-of-passage experience for release?
Out of moves here—our EA launch will have to be delayed by a few days.
It won't be long, and we’ll announce updates as soon as we have news. We are truly, deeply sorry!
Since you guys are waiting and we’re waiting too, we figured now is the perfect time to chat about our upcoming content plans!
❄️ Expanded Exploration Zones
We’re dropping brand-new maps with a completely different vibe, featuring Snowy Ruins and Secret Chambers! Extreme harsh environments, unknown hidden passages, and unique zone mechanics will put your looting and survival skills to the ultimate test.
Alongside these, we’re planning to introduce 5 new Bosses with distinct looks and mechanics.
🔫 Builds & Playstyles
Bigger maps and more enemies mean our little chickens need a upgrade, too!
We're adding new weapon and gear affixes, plus fresh attack patterns, allowing you to assemble synergized builds and forge your personal playstyle. (Note: Absolutely zero zombies were harmed during our internal testing process.)
And don't worry about losing your favorite affixes when swapping gear—we’re rolling out an Affix Extraction feature at the same time.
Now you can look your absolute slickest while dealing the absolute nastiest firepower!
🏰 Base Building
At the end of the day, all that looting out in the wild is to keep your home safe from being wrecked by zombies.
So, we’ve cooked up an even wider variety of structures!
We’ve also put those mercenaries—the ones who constantly complain "Leave me alone!"—through mandatory boot camp. They’ve now developed distinct personalities and will actually follow orders.
A legit, impenetrable Zombie Fortress is well within your reach!
🤝 Multiplayer Modes
And we haven't forgotten about multiplayer! We have two new Co-Op modes in the pipeline. Stay tuned!
Thank you all so much for your patience. See you guys in a few days!
