40th Century: Void Survivor — v1.2.1

A code-review patch focused on combat correctness, fairer difficulty, and a smoother first-run experience. Thanks for playing, pilots.

⚔️ Combat Fixes

• Bosses no longer ignore your tech. Frost Mirror beams and Crystalline Fracture frostbite now correctly hit every boss tier — small, medium, and the big ones.

• Time Slow now affects all enemy tiers and their projectiles.

• Cryo Lance now applies armor penetration as intended.

• Smarter enemy threats: Revenant gets brief invulnerability after reviving, Phantom Blade now telegraphs its dash, and Void Leech shows its drain ring.

⚖️ Balance

• Dreadnought phase-2 laser tracks slower — it's now dodgeable instead of a guaranteed hit.

• IMPOSSIBLE difficulty now grants invulnerability frames and caps enemy attack scaling — brutal, but fair.

• Fire-rate and Data Overload now have soft caps to keep builds in check.

• More cores: +6% core drops per stage plus a guaranteed clear payout, so progression keeps pace with your playtime.

🚀 New Player Onboarding

• First-time economy primer when you enter the Lobby.

• Warning prompt before your first skip penalty (it's permanent and stacks).

• "Recommended next step" hint banner in the Lobby.

• One-click suggested survival loadout in Engineering.

🔧 Under the Hood

• Fixed several memory leaks (Gravity Well tickers, boss arrays, scene teardown).

• Performance improvements in the combat loop.

• Tighter security on the desktop build (least-privilege bridge).

• Localization updates across all 11 languages.

See you in the void. 🌌
