Hey everyone!

As you know, we've spent this entire first weekend collecting the bugs you've been reporting. We've implemented a lot of fixes and a few new improvements. Here's the full list, ordered by importance:

1. Autosave

• We've removed the save options from the game settings: with this update the game saves automatically after every match and at regular intervals, so you'll always have three save files from three different points in time.

2. Investments

• Investments now return your capital plus interest when they mature. Previously they stayed in place permanently and you never got your investment back.

3. League Assembly

• Fixed many issues with the Assembly: it now loads faster and lets you keep voting after the second time, so you no longer have to fall back on quick simulation.

• Fixed several translation errors throughout the Assembly section.

4. Matches

• Fixed an issue where line-ups weren't displayed correctly in the pre-match screen, which sometimes caused errors in the match view, showing players who weren't in the line-up.

• Pre-season friendlies now take your team's current standing into account and pick opponents from your league and at your level.

5. Blocked signings

• Fixed an issue that made it impossible to sign free agents from the transfer market.

• Fixed an issue where those free agents, once signed, had no squad number.

• Fixed the bug that prevented youth players from receiving offers when promoted to the first team.

• Fixed an error that made it impossible to hire staff using a controller.

6. Negotiations and transfer market

• Contract terminations have been reworked: players can now reject your offer.

• The waiting time to make a new offer after a rejection has been reduced from 30 days to 7.

• If you now offer less than you had previously offered in a purchase negotiation, the offer is rejected — the player takes it as an insult.

• Fixed a case where, if you were negotiating a counter-offer for a player and ended up rejecting it, the interested club would send you a brand-new offer the very next day.

• You can no longer negotiate contracts with players you've just signed.

• Loans are now instant: you no longer need to advance a day to see them reflected in or out of your squad.

7. Performance

• Optimised the squad view after signing a new player: it now loads far faster.

• Optimised the squad statistics submenu, which is now much quicker.

8. Squad: new tags and columns

• We've improved how player statuses are displayed using tags, so you can see at a glance whether a player's contract is expiring, whether he's available for transfer or loan, whether he's rejected one of our offers on the market, and so on. To fit them in, the "Name" column — now called "Player" — shows only the player's first surname, and only in the squad menu.

• Added a squad number column to the squad overview submenu, so you can more easily tell which players appear in the ideal formation, right next to it.

• Advanced search now lets you search by both first name and surname.

9. Scouting

• The scouted players screen now resets each year to free up space, though you'll keep the player's rating. We recommend adding any interesting players to your shortlist. If you're still scouting several players when the season ends, those do carry over to the new season.

• Fixed several translation errors throughout the scouting centres section.

10. Staff

• High-quality staff will no longer join clubs well below their level. Those at a reasonably high level compared to your club will accept, but you'll need to offer a good salary.

11. Translations and languages

• Fixed a translation issue when receiving a loan offer, where the loan duration was displayed in Spanish only.

• Fixed the message received when negotiating a contract termination, which also appeared in Spanish.

• Adjusted the Arabic UI, where we had some layout order issues.

12. Player data and information

• Fixed an error where the same player could show two different ages on some screens.

• Fixed a morale value that appeared with different ratings across two squad submenus.

• Fixed the progression view in the full profile: the first year shown is now always the current one.

• Fixed an issue with youth players' photos in the info box of the attributes submenu.

• The transfer history has been updated and now lets you view signings by season rather than by year.

• Fixed a bug that made the objectives screen progressively harder to read as the years went by.

Thanks for keeping the reports coming! We're already working on the next update.
