Hi everyone, and especially anyone who loves potatoes.
Release day is Friday, September 25, at 4 AM in Los Angeles, 7 AM in New York, noon in London, 1 PM in Berlin, 7 PM in Beijing and 8 PM in Tokyo. If you're reading this later, the game is already out.
I made this game on my own. My wife Maria played it, found the spots where it didn't work or worked badly, and a lot of her advice really helped. It's in the game now. For me it turned into a game where I just goofed around, let loose and made stuff for the fun of it.
The full version has changed a lot since the demo this summer. If you played the demo, you won't recognize the game now. It got better, and there's a lot more content in it. There's about three or four hours of play here, maybe even five, depending on how deep you want to go and how you like to play. And after that you can play it again in a completely different way.
One click, one layer
Every click drops a random ingredient onto the bread, and the tower keeps growing until a guest takes it. You don't even have to click. Moving the mouse back and forth works too. The guests in this game are drinks with faces. Coffee, kefir, lemonade, cola, cocoa, honey tonic. Sometimes one of them wants something specific.

Sweet and savory
There are loads of ingredients. Lettuce, bacon, salmon, caviar, truffle, and right next to them a whole sweet side with strawberries, marshmallows, pistachio cream, chocolate, and sandwiches on waffles and pancakes. The sweet stuff opens up once Mr. Cookie starts dropping by. He pays in cookies.

Then things get out of hand
Flying spatulas show up and stack layers for you, then an ingredient belt, cashiers, eleven boards and towers a hundred layers tall. And over thirty combos if the layers land just right.

Parcels
Every now and then a parcel shows up on the counter. There are three cards inside, and you get to keep one. There are over twenty cards in all, like Bee Raid, Kitchen Chaos, Golden Plates and Sandwich on Steak, where a steak takes the place of the bun. Some are useful, some are just there to make you laugh.

The bumblebee
And then there's the bumblebee, a funny little critter. He flies in when he feels like it and does whatever he feels like. He might swipe a banknote off the counter and take off with it (a click knocks it loose), plop down on a sandwich that's almost done, chase your cursor, show up with a buddy, and that's not even all of it. Take Bee Raid and a whole swarm flies in, each bee bringing money for your guests.

The Moon
You can fly to the Moon. Kitchen and all. What happens after that, you'll see for yourself.

Spudpunk 2077
And this is where the potatoes come in. Once you've finished the game, you can start it over, only differently. You pick one of three paths, Nomad, Corpotato or Street Fry. Each one has its own start and its own city outside the window, and every one of them opens up the potato shelf, from chips to truffle fries. Each shift ends with a receipt full of records you'll want to beat, and the rocket doesn't fly where it used to.

On the walls
The game is full of easter eggs. There are paintings, and every one of them has a potato in it one way or another. As for the posters, I'd better keep quiet. They're more fun to find yourself. Some of them you'll definitely recognize. And you can set up the wall however you like. There are twelve windows to pick from, and that's just the windows.

Price
It's 40% off at launch, and I'd love for as many people as possible to play it. There's also a bundle with our previous game, The Sorting Bureau, at a big discount. If you've already bought the Bureau, the game costs you even less in the bundle.

I enjoyed making this game and showing you a few of its tricks here. If a lot of you end up liking it, I'll keep adding more fun stuff to it.
