Major Update v0.3.0 introduces the Knowledge Network & Doctrines system, interactive nested tooltips with an in-game glossary, and seamless background autosaving. Every decision you make now leaves a lasting imprint on your nation's identity.
🏛️ The Knowledge Network & Doctrines Overhaul
Build Your Nation's Unique Identity: The legacy technology tree has evolved into the Knowledge Network & National Doctrines system. Rather than unlocking generic stat boosts, you now actively construct your nation's societal, economic, military, and diplomatic character across 5 core pillars spanning 34 unique doctrines and 136 distinct tiers.
Governance & Society: Choose how your nation governs—from Democratic Pluralism, State Capitalism, Technocracy, to Autocracy—shaping domestic stability, civic trust, and public sentiment over decades.
Economic Architecture: Define your country's financial DNA—from Free-Market Financialization, State-Led Industrialization, Resource Extraction Niches, to Command Welfare models.
Strategic & Military Doctrines: Determine how your forces fight—Combined Arms Blitz, Mass Mobilization & Defense in Depth, Naval Dominance, Air Superiority, or Strategic Deterrence.
Hidden Research Triggers: Dynamic sub-branches unlock organically based on real-world actions, crisis management, and gameplay events (e.g. engaging in cyber defense unlocks specialized Cyber Countermeasures).
Your Choices Truly Matter: Doctrines carry real weight. Every choice dynamically alters law compatibility, faction resentment, stability drift, AI diplomatic posture, and long-term national growth vectors.
🔍 Interactive Nested Tooltips & 99-Mechanic Glossary
Dwell-Locking Nested Tooltips: Hover over any stat or modifier and pause your cursor to lock the tooltip in place, allowing you to click into deeper nested tooltips within tooltips to inspect calculations and formulas to any depth.
Exhaustive In-Game Glossary: Integrated an in-game glossary covering 99 mechanics across all 13 supported languages. Complex concepts (Okun's Law, NAIRU, Aggressive Expansion, Resentment) are hyperlinked and explained directly in context.
⚡ Non-Blocking Background Autosaving & Performance
100% Non-Blocking Autosaves: Decoupled background save execution from the UI. Autosaving now runs entirely asynchronously on background threads with zero frame freezes, UI hitches, or input delay.
11-Second Faster Startup: Accelerated main menu boot times by ~11 seconds via fast 256KB save metadata prefix scanning and deferred HUD initialization.
🌐 Self-Diagnosing Multiplayer Stability
Automated Mismatch Reporting: Multi-peer lockstep sessions now feature self-diagnosing build and state mismatch reports to identify and isolate network desyncs instantly.
