🔧 Update v0.2.06 — UI Character Clean-up, GDP Ledger Fix, Multiplayer Hardening & Localization Updates
Hello Commanders!
This update focuses on polishing the user interface, aligning GDP aggregation math for accurate national ledger views, hardening our multiplayer network channels to reduce latency, and integrating a round of localization updates!
Here is what's new in v0.2.06:
🌍 Localization & Translation Updates
• Language & Text Polish: Integrated a fresh batch of translation updates and corrections across our supported locales, resolving minor grammar discrepancies and aligning interface text templates.
📺 UI Unicode Clean-up
• Clean Typography: Fixed a bug where raw, broken unicode boxes would show up in place of divider lines on HUD notification logs and select province labels. They now display as intended across all screen styles.
📊 Province-to-Country GDP Ledger Alignment
• Accurate Ledger Values: Reconciled and aligned the mathematical formulas that aggregate individual province GDP levels to the national ledger screens. This resolves previous accounting discrepancies where a country's total displayed GDP did not perfectly match the sum of its provinces.
🌐 Multiplayer P2P Hardening
• Reduced Lag & Desyncs: Polished our Steam P2P transport and Resync Coordinator systems. This optimization prevents network latency spikes during high lockstep ticks, resulting in a cleaner and more stable multiplayer experience.
