Food & Drink
Two new food trucks: the Burger Truck (Powder Stash, $4,000) serving burgers and fries, and the Chicken Truck (Regional Hotspot, $4,500) serving fried chicken and tenders. Regional Hotspot was a thin unlock — it isn't anymore.
The Taco Stand is now the Taco Truck, and all three trucks got a materials pass.
Guests
Fixed guests piling up at a hub and never leaving. If the first step of a route aimed at ground a few metres off the walkable surface, a trail head, a lift terminal, a doorway: the whole route was thrown away, every time, for every destination. Crowds could freeze in place with maxed-out hunger and warmth needs and no way to act on them.
Trails that start on steep ground now send guests to reachable ground beside the head instead of the head itself, so nobody stands around steering at a spot they can't stand on.
Guests skiing to a spot on a run no longer get quietly re-routed onto an overlapping run and dumped at the wrong end of the mountain.
Ski Patrol
Fixed patrollers never reaching injured skiers. A responder stepping off a lift could get pulled onto the neighbouring trail, ski it to the bottom, ride back up, and repeat, forever, while the guest waited. Injuries could sit unanswered all day.
Responders heading to an incident below a mid-mountain lodge now ski the last leg instead of walking down the run.
Staff who arrive at a spot they can't quite reach now register on station right away instead of stalling in transit for a minute or more.
Weather
Rain storms are graded separately from snow whiteouts. A warm downpour on the Northeast and PNW maps used to load into an unreadable dark murk, it was getting an arctic blizzard's fog, lighting and exposure. Rain now reads as a wet grey day, and loading into one starts it that way instead of blending out of a whiteout.
Rain curtains got the same treatment.
Build Menu
Landscape tools are grouped into categories: Clear Tree, Shape, Snow, that pop open into a compact list. Eight-plus tools in one strip had become a pile.
Fixed the controller radial arming the wrong landscape tool. Its list had drifted out of date and mislabelled several wedges; both the radial and the drawer now build from the same source, and the radial backs out one ring at a time.
Misc
Updated Vail's starting location.
Added Matthew Via to the credits.
