Rank System in Sovereign Strike: Submarine Supremacy

Captains, we’re excited to introduce the new rank system!
When you choose the country you’ll defend, you immediately receive a starting rank:
Comune di seconda classe — for Marina Militare (Italy)
Ensign — for the United States Navy
Able Seaman 2nd Class — for His Majesty’s Naval Service
and the corresponding ranks for all other fleets.
From there, everything depends on you. Points earned will advance you up the ranks. How high you climb is determined solely by your skill.
Ranks (complete with stripes and shoulder insignia) are awarded based on how your maximum points per battle compare to those of other active captains from your country.
Admiral’s epaulettes won’t be handed out automatically — you need to be one of the best in your fleet.
Earned the rank of Admiral for one country? Great. Now try to claim it for another.
We are planning to create an Admirals’ Hall of Fame in Sovereign Strike: Submarine Supremacy — a place of honor for the very best.
Important note on the competition
The competition runs among active players only. To prevent old records from veterans from dominating the leaderboards, points are counted over a one-year period.
We want your feedback:
Should we shorten the period to six months or even one month?
Or would you prefer to make it longer?
Leave your thoughts in the comments — your opinion will directly influence the final settings of the system.
See you in the depths, Captains.
