Greetings, Cyber Pioneers!
It has been a thrilling week since our Early Access launch on May 8th. Today, we want to express our sincere gratitude to a Curator with 38,000 followers who recently recommended Cyber Joker. Your support validates our core concept: merging the thrill of Texas Hold'em with the roguelike structure of Balatro.

We’d like to take this opportunity to clarify our design philosophy and target audience.
🎯 Who Is This Game For?
Our primary goal is to serve players who loved Balatro. With over 5 million copies sold, Balatrohas proven there is a massive audience for strategic card games. Within that audience, we believe there is a significant overlap with fans of Texas Hold'em.
While we do not yet have data to prove the exact percentage of this overlap, our hope is that players who enjoy both genres will find a home in Cyber Joker.
♠️ The "Balatro Rules × Texas Hold'em Hands" Hybrid
The core loop of Cyber Jokeris simple: We use Balatro'sproven roguelike mechanics—Jokers, Tarot Cards, and Planet Cards—to supercharge classic Texas Hold'em hands.
For BalatroVeterans: The learning curve is minimal. Approximately 70% of the card functions in Cyber Jokerare conceptually similar to Balatro. If you understand how to build a run in Balatro, you already understand the scoring logic here.
For Texas Hold'em Players: This is a fresh challenge. Your knowledge of "Flushes," "Four of a Kind," and "Full Houses" is essential, but now you must use them to achieve specific score targets against blinds.
We are essentially creating a game for players who think, "I love the number-crunching of Balatro, but I also want the familiar tension of poker hands."
🔮 A Market Hypothesis
Currently, Cyber Jokeris still in the early days of Early Access. We are putting this hypothesis to the test:
Does a market exist for players who love both Balatroand Texas Hold'em?
We are confident that the answer is yes, and we are committed to refining this experience based on your feedback.

Thank you all for being part of this experiment. Patch v0.1.19 is already in development.
May all your draws be straight,
The Cyber Joker Team
