This week’s development on Checkpoint 19 has been focused on improving how new players are introduced to the game.
First-Time Player Experience
A new First-Time User Experience (FTUE) is now being implemented to guide players through the fundamentals of managing their first checkpoint.
As Checkpoint 19 has grown, more systems, resources, buildings, and management decisions have been added. The new FTUE is designed to introduce these mechanics progressively instead of presenting players with everything at once. Players will be guided through the essential steps of establishing and operating their checkpoint, learning how the different systems work together as new mechanics become relevant.

The goal is not only to explain which buttons to press, but to help players understand the decisions behind running a successful border checkpoint. This is an important step toward making Checkpoint 19 easier to learn while preserving the depth and pressure of managing an increasingly complex border operation.
More updates coming soon.
