(What follows is a slightly rambly part)
I’m very happy if you’re reading this. After quite a long journey, Hellcrown finally has a Steam page.
We’re a small team of three people, making the game of our dreams.
With Hellcrown, what we want most is to convey a sense of power — to let the player simply feel like a badass demon king: sitting above their little world, giving orders, and watching their decisions shape it.
In that sense, the game is a bit of a throwback to the old god-sim games that we love so much.
Development isn’t always easy. The scope we’ve set for ourselves is taking all of my energy right now, and I’m trying very hard to keep everything under control. Sometimes it’s even a little scary to think that not everything we’ve planned will turn out exactly as I imagine it.
Right now we’re actively preparing the demo while also working on the second location, “The Frozen Kingdom of Astarte”. That’s where most of the most exciting content is currently taking shape, and we really can’t wait to show it to you.
Thank you to everyone who has already noticed Hellcrown. Every comment, every wishlist, every bit of feedback matters to us. I see your reactions, and they motivate me enormously to keep going and put even more energy into the game.
