v0.1.8-demo — June 17, 2026

What's new

• Welcome screen settings now let you switch between Windowed and Fullscreen. Your choice is saved for all saves.

• Volt Rush always dashes when used — even with no enemy nearby. Dash in your movement direction, or left/right if standing still. Enemies you pass through can still be hit.

• Volt Rush hits feel heavier, with stronger screen shake and a brief pause on contact.

• Enemy hits show a clearer flash so damage is easier to see.

• Improved Traditional Chinese text in Normal Days and the Archive Room, with missing lines filled in and more natural Taiwan wording.

• Footsteps are a little quieter and no longer stack up when you spin or change direction quickly.

Fixes

• Fixed the tuck shop vendor's angry expression not showing during dialogue.

• Fixed the menu selection arrow staying on screen after respawning from the fail menu.

• Fixed falls not triggering when jumping while running on sloped areas.

• Fixed being able to move while a fall animation was playing.

• Fixed the selection arrow drawing behind pause menu and fail menu text.
