Hello, players! It's me! The Narrator!
I'm taking a small break from announcing the next minigame to let you know that The Control Group is celebrating it's 6-month anniversary tomorrow, on September 24, 2026! We here at our company greatly appreciate your support on somewhat unethical experimentation practices.
Those of you who are avid The Control Group players may have noticed that the game is missing one of it's 11 advertized minigames, as only 10 seem to be available through my random picking. That is because the 11th minigame has been hidden the whole time! It's been in the game, but locked behind a couple steps and a secret code never revealed to the public. So, I feel like it's about time to let the very active playerbase know how to access this secret minigame!
THE SECRETS COME TO LIGHT!
The steps you must take in order to access the secret minigame are:
Break my legs. The host must disable me via the "'DISABLE' NARRATOR" button in the host settings. You'll know it works when I scream out in pain and when the red box turns green.
Enter the secret code. The host must then enter the secret code in the text field named "???" towards the bottom of the host settings. The secret code is, and has always been, eXp3r1MEn7. You didn't hear this from me, though.
Just wait! In the very next round, you will be thrown directly into the secret minigame! And that's it!
So... what is this secret minigame?
Outside of my lore drop cutscene at the beginning of the minigame, it's an infinite wave-based minigame in which your goal is to survive my wrath for as long as possible. You can shoot bullets using the E key, and don't die, or else your game crashes! (Sorry not sorry.)
It is not nearly as polished as the other minigames, as this one was really meant to be a joke between the developers of the game. Every single enemy is based on an inside joke for every one of the five main members of The Control Group team, the cutscene is poking some fun at our Entrepreneurship teacher, and the song is an absolute classic, rapped by one of the developers' classmates.
Despite this minigame not really being serious, we decided to release it to the public because the developers (and I, the Narrator) greatly appreciate the support in terms of people actually buying this silly school project, and wanted to give you just a little bit more content. So, THANK YOU, PLAYERS, and GO ENJOY THE SECRET MINIGAME!
