I'm never sure how to judge how many people read these posts. 🤔 But I'm told by the team we should write them. I could be writing into the infinite void right now. 🌌 We begin alone and we try to find moral permission to judge the world around us. I think it was Sartre who said... Never mind. We should talk about games!🎮

We have been building our little world. 🏗️ A better one than the real one maybe. Which is some days — not a high bar. 😬 The Transcendentalists believed that... Kidding. 😄 (It's called a call back. It was only one paragraph ago. It's not exactly Chekov's gun, but I'm trying to keep your attention. 🎯)

📋 Since we spoke last we have:

• 💻 Been building a whole command line language and system so you can interact with the computers that run the theme park.

• ⌨️ The Terminal systems run on a language called Pillow Talk. And they are generally referred to as PTC's. (Pillow Talk Consoles)

• 🏮 We've been building out more and better parts of Far East Alley. The land that houses some of the experiences you might have been playing. Including the one-at-a-time scavenger hunt called The Feline Fix 🐱 and the little safe-but-spooky dark ride called Sweet Dreams. 💤 The news is that we're adding the experiences right inside the land so you can go back and forth like a real park. 🎢

• 🤖 We've also been working to make the lands themselves feel more alive and fun. With more grabbable items 🫳, vending machines 🥤, and even some robots that help to maintain the park. (FEA is still under construction 🚧, so the robots can be seen — we would never allow a robot to appear 'on stage' if the park was open.)

• 🪜 We continue to have construction materials littering the park as we build. We apologize for any inconvenience. 🙏

• 🏆 And finally. We looked around one day and we realized that honestly, this little land could be sort of a game itself. So we built these awesome little collectibles and made an optional scavenger hunt. 🔍 Like they do in the real parks for the people who have been there so many times they are jaded and sad and need more than just the insane rides and fun they have become bored with. 😉

Lots of stuff. ✨ Lots more I can't mention yet because it might meet with the loving axe 🪓 that we use to chop out things that don't make the cut. We'll have more to share on all of that soon! 📣

So for now we say goodbye. 👋 As we hold our emotional connections dear and huddle against the winds of time. 🍃 I think it was Albert Camus who said...

✍️ Author's note: I did write this. The abundance of emoji and the em-dash are meant to imply that AI wrote it. This is called a "long con" — for when I actually do just tell AI to write these and my team cannot tell the difference. 🤖
