Thank you to everyone who has played Anomalogenos.
This is a medium-scale update that includes the official implementation of the Winning Streak Mode—which we had been developing for the Otsuki Game Summit—as well as the addition of a skill preset feature.
Update Details
Addition of Winning Streak Mode:
This is a mode where you face off against enemies one-on-one, starting with the weakest and
progressing to the strongest, aiming to maintain a winning streak.
If you lose even once, you’ll have to start over from the beginning; you’ll receive rewards each time you win, which you can use to advance your build.
This mode can be started directly from the title screen, rather than from within Story Mode. Therefore,
you can attempt Win Streak Mode regardless of your progress in Story Mode.
Rewards for clearing the mode are obtained the first time you open Story Mode after clearing it.
Items obtained during Win Streak Mode cannot be carried over to Story Mode.
Only the rewards earned upon clearing the mode will affect Story Mode.
Mode Renaming:
The mode previously accessible via the “Game Start” button has been renamed “Story Mode,” and the “Game Start” button on the title screen has also been changed to the “Story Mode” button.
New Skill Implementation:
There was previously a category named “No Level Cap,” but this name has been changed to “Synthesis.”
Existing skills that could be synthesized to remove level caps included the following:
・Inflicts fixed damage based on your level at the start of the game
・Reduces knockback force when hit by a percentage based on your level
Additionally, we have added 15 new passive skills to the “Synthesis” category.
Among these, the following skills have been designated as rewards obtainable exclusively through clearing Win Streak Mode and Roguelike Mode:
・Has no skill effect, but when synthesized with a single passive skill,
it raises that skill’s level to the maximum.
・Has no skill effect, but when synthesized with a single passive skill,
it reduces that skill’s size to 1 square.
Added the Category Boost Shop as a new building at the 0M mark:
This allows you to specify which categories of passive skills are more likely to appear.
This prevents situations where you have too many skills to build a viable strategy.
Here’s how to use it
・Place one passive skill you possess into a slot and sacrifice it.
・If you have 7,500 or more Gold, it will be consumed along with the sacrificed skill item.
・Set the Boost Category to either the condition category or the effect category of the sacrificed passive skill—whichever is randomly selected.
・Since existing Boost Categories are overwritten, only one type can be boosted at a time.
・25% of the passive skills obtained from treasure chests will now include the boosted category.
Additionally, you can reset the boost category at no cost to restore the original probability ratio.
Implementation of the Skill Preset Feature:
This feature allows you to save your equipped skill configuration as a preset.
A “Presets” tab has been added to the Inventory tab.
Selecting this tab displays a list of presets.
Each preset has a Save button, a Delete button, and a Restore button.
Pressing the Save button saves your current skill configuration to that preset.
Pressing the Restore button restores a saved skill configuration.
You can create as many presets as you like.
