Patch Notes - Performance & Gameplay Improvements

Thank you for all the feedback since release. I have been reading your comments and working on improving the experience based on your suggestions.

Gameplay Changes

• Reduced the jumpscare frequency:

  • Before: 25% chance

  • Now: 10% chance

• Reduced jumpscare sound volume:

  • Before: 0.7

  • Now: 0.3

The goal is to make the horror moments feel more impactful and less overwhelming.

New Graphics & Performance Settings

Added new options to help players with different PC configurations:

• FPS Counter toggle

• Texture Mipmap Quality:

  • High

  • Medium

  • Low

• Render Scale:

  • 0.1 - 1.0

• Shadow Quality:

  • High

  • Medium

  • Disabled

• FPS Limit:

  • 30

  • 60

  • 120

  • Unlimited

These settings should help improve performance on lower-end systems.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed missing textures for 2 anomalies in Bus Station 8

Upcoming Update

The next bigger update is already in development and is planned for release in around one week.

It will include:

• A new ending for Bus Station 8

• Small improvements across the maps

• Possible new features for The Infected Store to improve replayability

I am taking all feedback seriously. This is my first horror game, and I want to keep improving it and make sure players have a fun experience.

Because I know the game still has areas that need improvement, I have reduced the price from $7.99 to $4.75 for now.

Thank you to everyone who is playing, reporting issues, and sharing feedback. It really helps me improve the game.
