Hey runners,

We've just pushed a new update live to Echobreaker that adds new leaderboard functionality.

Now the leaderboard will highlight your friends [F] so that you'll be able to see how you compare to them no matter where they are on the global leaderboard. We hope this makes it easier for you to see exactly how much better you are than your friend George, who always seems to beat you in other games...

We also just wanted to say a huge thank you for the positive reviews and kind words you've shared with us so far. Please tell your friends, leave a review, gift the game to a rival, it all makes a huge difference for us in these early days.

In case you missed the launch trailer and FAQs, we've left those below:

Launch FAQ

What kind of game is Echobreaker?
Echobreaker is a precision speedrunning game focused on short, replayable courses, fast restarts, route optimisation, and chasing better times.

What are Echoes?
Echoes are a key resource used to perform powerful movement actions such as jumps and speed boosts. Sacrificing an Echo can help you reach a faster route, but it reduces your safety net for the rest of the run.

Does Echobreaker have Challenge Modifiers?
Yes. Challenge Modifiers allow players to raise the difficulty and push their runs further once they’ve learned the routes.

Is there controller support?

Yes, and we'd actually recommend that you use a controller for Echobreaker.

How long is the game?
Echobreaker is built around replaying courses, improving times, and optimising routes. Playtime will vary depending on how far you want to push your runs, ranks, and Challenge Modifiers.

Where can I share feedback or report bugs?
You can share feedback, report issues, or discuss the game with us in the Steam forums.

Thank you again for supporting the game, now it’s time to run, restart, and find out what speed really costs.
