HOTFIX #3 & #4 – Combat Balance, Stability, UI, and New Spells

HOT FIX #3 and #4

We are rolling out a combined update covering all our latest changes and fixes.

Please find the details for both patches below:

Fixed multiple level-art, collision, and stuck issues across Ondal’s Fall, Whispering Barrens, Haunted Island, Goldport, Midisland, Fishing Village, and Irongarth terrain areas.
Updated NPC art/data, including assets and textures.
Added Gronthar male DO citizen NPC armor source.
Updated Bearan armor assets.
Fixed teleport/leap client movement handling.
Updated Druid spell SFX and additional audio balancing/event data.
Fixed ranger Charged Shot animation-related spell/animation data.
Fixed keybindings menu.
Fixed run speed.
Adjusted culling target handling for players, NPCs, and minions.
Applied shader and client rendering fixes.

Fixed talent persistence: storing/reading talents now writes and loads correctly.
Added active in-combat resource state/data plumbing.
Fixed quest kill credit and damage effect handling.
Fixed leap and teleport behavior, including movement component, projectile, and pull-in handling.
Fixed infinite-range issues for Nature Duality and Healing Hand.
Added scar reactivation guard: prevents activating a scar when its group already has an active scar.
Update scars and group containers, with crash-risk cleanup.
Fixed server/NPC crash paths and several potential lifetime issues.
Updated localization for spells, consumables, dialogue, interactables, matchmaking text, Alchemy Bench Tier 2, and Druid Spore.

Applied CPU optimizations.
Fixed an issue causing certain game objects to become invisible.
Healing Hand radius increased to 15 meters.
Critical Chance and Crit DMG gained from scar reduced to 10% and 20% respectively.
HP out of combat regeneration is now 10% per 3 seconds.
HP should no longer regenerate in combat.
Deadeye and Charged shot damage reduced.
Aegis no longer reduces movement speed.
New talent added: When you block a projectile, fire a Lightbound shield at the target.
Ice Lance CD increased.
Cosmic Orb CD increased.
Added a new paladin spell: Deliverance.
Rejuvenation Starter Talent should correctly grant the target resource regen.

Transitioned to Phase 2 of the Mourning Pass battleground.
Updated the Settings menu and fixed player UI issues for Mourning Pass.
Improved the welcome popup: Updated alpha/fade behavior, text colors, and Phase 2 transition flow.
Adjusted Close button and NDA positioning.
Fixed camera rotation issues on the login scene.
Temporarily disabled some keybindings for playtest purposes.
Added and updated spell, scar, talent lockout, status icons, and localization.
Fixed chest-opening/interact animations getting stuck when interrupted.
Fixed chest-opening/interact animations getting stuck when interrupted (affecting Chests, Weapon/Armor racks, Herbs, and Soul chests).
Fixed charge-shot animation reset issues.
Added 2x one-handed sword locomotion setup.
Added SFX for Hail of Arrows, Grapple, and Player Swimming.
Added Stinger pincer attack SFX and further updated Druid spell SFX.
Added additional collision and stuck fixes across Human Fishing Village, Ondal's Fall, Mourning Pass, Whispering Barrens, Goldport, Haunted Island, and other open-world areas.
Fixed water lake swimming and blocker issues.
Added and adjusted lighting volumes and presets.
Updated terrain, cliff, house, well, undead wall, fur, armor, NPC, and environment assets/materials.
Talent tree reset issue after log out /in has been fixed.
Added new buff/debuff icons.
