Hi detectives,

Update 0.7.3 is now live.

This update adds a new layer to interrogations: suspects can now react differently depending on your detective’s appearance.

When approaching a suspect, the game now takes into account whether you are wearing the Police Uniform or not. The uniform can bring a stronger sense of authority, formality, and institutional pressure, while approaching without it can make the conversation feel more personal, direct, and human.

This new system works together with the existing suspect personality system, interrogation logic, and detective skill influences. A suspect’s attitude still depends on who they are, what they know, what they may be hiding, and how you question them, but your visual presence can now also help shape the tone of the exchange.

Wearing the uniform may make suspects take you more seriously, reduce some open resistance, and create a more formal atmosphere during the interrogation. Approaching without the uniform can create a different dynamic, encouraging a slightly less procedural and more personal response.

Interrogation is now even more about presence, pressure, and approach. How you look when you enter the room can affect how the person across from you chooses to answer.

Thanks again for playing and for following the development.
