Hello City Painters!
It has been a while since the last update, but I haven't forgotten about you! During this time, I have been working hard (and still am) on the game's continued development. Soon, you will see a rebuilt road connection system that allows you to connect to any specific lane, rather than just the center axis of the road.
On top of that, you will also get automatic road markings at intersections, along with solid and mixed lines depending on how you configure the traffic rules.
If you cannot wait for this update (just like me!), you can already try it out today on the beta branch.
To access the beta:
right-click on City Painter in your Steam library
select Properties
then Game Versions and Betas
enter the code "beta123456789" in the Private Versions field
⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ Please remember that this version is not ready yet and may contain bugs and unfinished features. There is no guarantee that saves created or modified on this version will work in the future, so please back up your city before testing.
You can share your feedback and report any bugs you find on the official game Discord: https://discord.gg/VnFRHsR7Tk in the #🛠️➥beta-testing channel.
See you soon!
Happy painting, Blunix
