Warriors of the world!
Lootborne is out. The road ahead will be uncertain and perilous.
But as we fight our way forward, there is always a chance the wind will turn in our favour. If things go well and the game finds an enthusiastic audience, we have a list of cool features we have always wanted to add but couldn’t, mostly due to practical limitations of time and budget.
Today we want to talk about them. But we'll try to keep it short, because the list of things we want to add, improve, and experiment with is quite long.
- PLAYABLE RACES
Your champion will not always have to be human.
Different playable races could be added, with their own identities and different ways to affect your build.
- ULTIMATE SKILLS
A new layer of fun.
Ultimate skills will give your champion a powerful ability to trigger when it's most needed.
- ITEM UPGRADES
Good gear should not always become useless the moment something shinier drops.
We'd like to introduce a system that allows you to invest in the items you like and push them further.
- TRANSMOGRIFICATION
A powerful warrior should also be allowed to look ridiculous.
Transmogrification will let you change the appearance of your equipment without giving up the stats of your current build.
- MORE LOOT. MORE ENEMIES. MORE PLACES TO DIE.
New items, new enemies, and completely new sectors will continue to expand the world of Lootborne.
There is still a lot outside the map.
The wizard knows that.
- CO-OP PvE
We dream of players being able to join forces and face PvE content together instead of always fighting alone.
Band together to kill enemies otherwise too strong for a single hero.
- MULTIPLAYER PvP ARENAS
The Arena might grow beyond 1v1.
We are planning proper team battles, including 2v2, 3v3, and 4v4 PvP.
More players. More builds. More problems.
- COLLECTIBLE CURIOSITIES
Not everything you find needs to make you stronger.
We also want to introduce rare collectible objects you can discover and keep.
Completely unnecessary.
Therefore extremely important.
- PETS
For the cozy and cute feeling.
More on this later.
These features are not necessarily listed in release order.
As always, we will keep listening to what you tell us, watching what happens inside the game, and adjusting our priorities along the way.
Lootborne started as a very small game at the edge of your screen.
We dream of making that edge considerably more crowded.
See you out there.
