Hey, crew! 🦾

Two months have passed since our demo battle started — and what a journey it’s been so far! Over thousands of players, tons of feedback, but most importantly — brand new ideas to implement.

While you were challenging your skills in the OVER SAND demo, we were working hard to make your experience as enjoyable as possible.

So let’s take a closer look at what we’ve been doing all this time:

🚀 Projectile system overhaul — optimized projectile spawn, VFX and collision/damage handling. Now the game can handle thousands of projectiles. Up to 100 000.

🎯 Hit detection & other weapon fixes — improved rocket hit detection, Tesla splash interactions, mouse tracking and projectile spawning.

🧟 New enemies — working on MDF (Mobile Drone Factory) and Minebringer, a new ultimate boss is coming soon as well.

🗺️ Map updates — added new city sections and remade ship routes, that fixed several minor issues with the environment.

🃏 New cards — added Time/Duration cards, modifiers, perks, chain detection, and a completely new parser; conducted a comprehensive tutorial overhaul.

🎒 Inventory rework — improved card slots, drag-and-drop, recycling, weapon slots, and the new inventory UI.

🔗 Card chain UI — added chain detection and tooltips showing where cards can be placed. The game now explains which chains will work, how they will work, and, if a chain is broken and won't work, it will explain the reason.

🏗️ Spawn system rework — fixed several issues with delayed spawns, spawning points and units that could get stuck.

🔊 Audio updates — added new soundtracks and new FX sounds.

🛠️ Bug fixes & stability — fixed several crashes and bugs.

Thank you so much for your amazing support. We are so happy to see how positive your reception is. We appreciate every one of you and are always ready to welcome anyone new to the OVER SAND ranks!
