Greetings, greetings, one and all!
It's finally time for BeeTD to launch. After all these years you can now go and play the game, but on steam!
I'd like to say thank you again for all of you who played the game during the playtest, and to all of you who tried out the Demo! Of course, the release is going to come with a few changes since you last played.
You now all have acess to steam achievements, and the steam workshop. You can upload custom gamemodes and download them from there. There is also now a scripting language you can use to write custom gamemodes with a manual included to teach you how.
Theres some new Free Artwork available for you as well!
Now lets see, what are the gameplay changes?
There are some new items to mess around with!
The Metabidiminished Icosahedron -> Projectiles pass through wasps
The Magnet -> Pulls in or repels projectiles
A Plastic bag -> Multiplies flying towers range
There are some new maps for you to see!
The tardigrade now traps wasps in bubbles. The damage you deal to the wasp is stored until the bubble pops. Then the wasp takes all the damage stored multiplied by two!
The aphid now shoots needles at the wasps that travel really fast and have a long lifetime.
The jaekelopterus has a new ability. Activate it's ability to make it shoot a temporary laser beam at the wasps.
There are some new achievements to find as well, with some new skins and stuff.
There is new music.
