🚛 Consumer Beta 0.7.0 - 0.7.3_EA
Dear logistics managers,
the latest Consumer Beta updates mainly focused on expanding the new dispatcher system, improving route planning, and delivering numerous stability and quality-of-life improvements.
🗺️ Dispatcher V2 & Route Planning
Dispatcher V2 has received both visual and functional improvements.
New:
- Modernized glass-style UI and updated interface elements
- New two-tab system for planning and map view
- Driving direction indicators for planned routes
- Reworked dispatcher layout with improved overview
The route timeline has also been improved:
- Grouping by calendar day
- Real weekday calculation
- Separators between travel days
- Clearer visualization of longer routes
💾 Draft Saving & Autosave Protection
Planned but not yet started routes are now reliably preserved.
Saved data includes:
- Drivers
- Vehicles
- Trailers
- Cargo
- Departure times
The autosave system has also been improved:
- Automatic saves now only use Slot 0
- Manual save slots are no longer overwritten
- Read tutorial tips are only persisted during normal save operations
⚙️ Routing & Quality-of-Life Features
New:
- Direct buttons to move jobs to the beginning or end of a route
- Improved manual route splitting
- Dynamic UI behavior during automatic route planning
🪪 License & Recruitment System
The driver license system has been standardized and corrected.
Improved:
- Driver license display in applicant mails
- Automatic unlocking of logically included license classes
- Sorting and display of license lists
- Training and education logic
🛠️ Stability & Bug Fixes
Among others, the following issues were fixed:
- Dispatcher V2 crashes
- Date and calendar calculation problems
- Duplicate trip completion notifications
- Pause menu and focus issues under Godot 4
- Multiple UI and layout bugs
- Typography issues in the vehicle dealership
- Various editor warnings and type issues
Additionally, the internal calendar and save systems were further stabilized.
