I want to share with you the development updates I've added/improved over the past 2.5 months since the game's announcement. In this part, I'll focus on what I've done regarding locations during this time.
The 3rd major location for the 3rd chapter was 75% built from scratch. This location is called "The Great Passage" and is a huge semi-open rocky grotto with several zones to explore. For example: a stone forest, a large ruined bridge over a chasm with scaffolding, or the ruins of a trading city. The location still needs to be filled with details, optimized, and have enemies/events and story added. I'll share screenshots later.
A transit location between chapters 1 and 2 was 90% built from scratch. This is a large lava crater, which once housed the entrance to "The Sacred Limit" - one of the future potential locations in the game, shrouded in many mysteries. Now it's a lifeless place where it's very easy to die. It features a corrupted temple of Evelyn, a small cave, and the lava crater itself.
A story-driven location was built from scratch, to which the player will be thrown several times throughout the game. This place is in the desert. The events unfolding there took place 500 years ago. Essentially, the hero is thrown into the past, like a flashback. The game will feature several such flashbacks. This approach provides variety in locations/biomes and allows for a deeper immersion into the story. Here's a screenshot of this location.

Next time, I'll talk about updates to the combat system!
