Hey escape the pieguyers!
Thank you all so much for participating in playtesting shenanigans, whilst I work on actually finishing Escape the DaPieGuy. That includes adding adball LTO in Escape The DaPieGuy which may or may not take some time to do (Sorry 2026 release believers.) I've also kicked off the development by uploading the trailer on youtube. trailer
A few months ago, I released a to do list outlining what i am currently working and will be working on next for updates in Escape The DaPieGuy. No unexpected technical challenges have meant no changes to the list I wanted to deliver.
Before going any further, I should stress that the launch of Escape The DaPieGuy on Xbox and Playstation WILL NEVER HAPPEN SO GIVE UP ALL HOPE NOW. There's no further delay here and I am excited to NOT welcome console players to the DaPieGuy (because they will never exist)! In fact, I already gave you the answer to this not so exciting news........
This post aims to answer some questions that were never fucking asked and ITS 3AM AND I WANT TO SLEEP BUT THIS WAS FUNNY IN MY MIND SO I AM COMMITITNIGN TO THEI BIT. Moving forward, a to do list is literally fucking provided to you at all times. Instead, to ensure my updates to you are always accurate, I am once again going to pin the same URL that was posted up THERE That begins today; by addressing the elephant in the room and talking about the update.
You want updates. I want updates. Everyone wants updates - wait what the fuck do you mean by everyone wants the game to release, that has to be illegal. With the help of our amazing Awokemom and playtesters - to pinpoint exactly what updates and changes you want. With this information, and after talking to my imaginary friends (yes i am schizophrenic) on my wishes and previous level design work, I can make uninformed decisions on future updates because I have no fucking idea what my brain will want me to work next.
Holy shit I just realised this shit is too long for my 3AM self to write so fuck you I will be going to sleep and I hate myself and asjfhasjfklhjfkzxfhjalsfhjasfjasfhasflh.
Oh yeah this update litearally just adds two things. Doger's 1/3rd mini game and asleep rework.
