This release focuses on adding true dual controller support, new flat stereo formats, and quality-of-life fixes for controls, images, and playlists.
🆕 True Dual Controller Support
🆕 Added true dual controller support. Previously, when using both controllers, the app could fight over which player was active. Now each controller independently targets a player for interaction. Hopefully this is a much more intuitive interaction experience that matches user expectations.
✨ Player actions route more consistently to the player you are targeting.
🖼️ Flat Stereo Formats
🆕 Added flat side-by-side and flat top-bottom formats for packed stereo content that displays edge-to-edge. This new format dramatically improves the viewing experience for non-standard 3D images.
🛠️ Bug Fixes and Playlist Polish
🛠️ Format pin now stays pinned when loading images instead of resetting.
✨ Playlist search keeps its filter state and presents empty results more clearly.
🛠️ Blank players now show a zeroed scrubber and timecode.
Final Notes
v0.7.0 is a controls and polish release: both controllers can work independently, flat stereo content has clearer format options, and several player and playlist edge cases should feel more reliable.
