We need to warn everyone again.
The scammers impersonating Orion Blue are still active, and we’re now seeing the same pattern repeatedly.
They usually approach people through Discord, often using compromised accounts. They may say something like:
“We’re trying to play Orion Blue, but we need one more player.”
They then send you a fake Orion Blue website and ask you to download the game.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT.
Orion Blue is currently distributed ONLY through Steam. We do not distribute playable builds through random websites, Discord DMs, GitHub links, shared Google Drive links, or other direct download links.

They have also been sending GitHub links and shared-drive links, so please be extremely careful even if the link looks legitimate.
Most of these scammers seem to approach victims through Discord.
The only official Orion Blue Discord server is the one linked directly from our Steam Store page.
If someone sends you another Discord server claiming to be official, please do not trust it.
We have been reporting these sites and accounts to GitHub, Google Safe Browsing, domain registrars, Discord, and every other service we can. But every time one site gets reported or shut down, they simply create another one under a different address.
To be completely candid, we are absolutely furious.
Discord and our company email are supposed to be places where we talk with you about Orion Blue. Instead, lately we spend an unbelievable amount of time dealing with scammers using our game to hurt people.
Our team has worked incredibly hard on this game, and seeing someone use it as bait to steal accounts and infect people’s computers makes us furious beyond words.
But more importantly, we really don’t want anyone else to become a victim.
