Summer is winding down. Time to fold up the beach umbrellas, shake off the last grains of sand, and get ready for a busy autumn. But most importantly: time to turn off the air conditioning! Because for our team, this hasn't exactly been a summer of sunscreen and ice cream.
We've kept working hard, defining more and more aspects of the game ahead of the demo that will be waiting for you at winter's doorstep.
With Paolo, our Character Artist, we've had a blast designing the first enemies you'll encounter along the way; starting, of course, with our wild boar.
But could we really stop at a single four-legged foe? Of course not.
Among the historical aspects we loved digging into, one figure was simply unmissable: an icon of the plains of northern Lazio and Tuscany, the tombarolo (tomb raider).
Shady characters who, as far back as the seventeenth century, have been searching untouched tombs for treasures to sell to the highest bidder.
Armed with shovels and bad intentions, it'll be up to the player to defend themselves and protect the gifts (or curses, depending on how you look at it) they find along the way.

But if the woods and plains hide tomb raiders, souls damned by Voltumna for their sacrilege, what else awaits in the realm of the Etruscan gods?
Each area will carry the mark of its own deity, shaped by the specific pantheon it belongs to.
By showing you our next enemy, maybe some of you will guess who the Demo's first boss will be. Any guesses? Drop them in the comments or join our community online!
