Spyro Community Day 2026: Thank You
Every September, Spyro™ fans around the world gather to celebrate the purple dragon that has inspired adventure and captured the imaginations of generations. This year, on Spyro Community Day, we celebrate all of you.
Your unwavering enthusiasm, passion, and creativity have helped to keep Spyro soaring through the years. Whether you’ve been here since the original trilogy, revisiting favorite moments in the Reignited Trilogy, sharing fan art, creating content, or introducing new players to Spyro’s world, this community has always been at the heart of the franchise.
This year, we have even more reason to celebrate.
Spyro’s Next Adventure is on the Horizon
Earlier this summer, we announced Spyro: A Realm Beyond, an all-new adventure from Toys for Bob that sees Spyro embark on his boldest journey yet. The trailer revealed the wondrous new realm and fresh chapter in Spyro’s story, as well as a first glimpse of new mechanics that will allow our heroic dragon to truly soar.
The goal for Toys for Bob has always been to create a game that fans dreamed of when they first fell in love with the franchise — one that stays true to what makes Spyro so special, while also embracing exciting new possibilities.
As players get ready to experience the freedom of true dragon flight as part of this newcoming adventure, charging, jumping, gliding, and collecting treasure remain vital parts of the experience. It’s all designed to deepen the sense of freedom, discovery, and movement that has always been at the core of Spyro.
A Sweet Surprise for Community Day
To celebrate the fiery essence of Spyro and the joy of Community Day, special burn-away cakes were sent out to fans, creators, and press to help usher in the big day.
What looks like an ordinary cake reveals more underneath the surface as it burns away. What could it be? Take a look at the sweet reveal in the video below.
A First Look at Arcadian Vale
We’re excited to share a closer look at Arcadian Vale, one of the early regions players will discover in Spyro: A Realm Beyond.
Arcadian Vale captures the charm and wonder that defines Spyro’s new adventure. Made up of a calm, serene atmosphere, Arcadian Vale is a vibrant landscape filled with natural beauty. Across the scene are cascading waterfalls tumbling down from towering cliffs. Ancient stone structures and weathered monuments rise from the terrain while lush greenery blankets the valley floor, creating a destination that feels magical and alive.
From curious critters to cheerful fodder creatures, no detail of Arcadian Vale is too small. Every corner captures the same sense of warmth, whimsy, and personality that fans have come to love and expect from Spyro and his universe. The Toys for Bob team have paid special attention to creating a charming world that feels inviting at every scale, all the way down to its smallest inhabitants.
Thank You, and Stay Tuned
Spyro Community Day has always been about celebrating the incredible fans who have supported this franchise through every chapter of its history.
Your fandom and excitement continue to inspire us. As we look ahead towards Spyro: A Realm Beyond, we couldn’t be more grateful to have you along for the journey.
This is only the beginning.
Happy Spyro Community Day. We’ll see you soon, in the skies.
