I am writing this because people who are still playing the game wanted more people to know that it never went offline. I've continued to pay for these services out of my own pocket the whole time while people continued to play.
As most of you know, I stepped away from active development a while back. The game did not shut down though. The servers, website, and account registration are all still online. You can still download the client via GitHub and register. I've also lifted the block on cloud-based VPN connections, so RU players and others should be able to connect more easily now.
