Fixed an issue where some data from the first Imperial Examination was not properly cleared when starting the second Imperial Examination.
If you enter the game after this update while already being in the second Imperial Examination state, the save file will be automatically repaired. The corrupted second-examination data will be cleared, and you will need to issue a new imperial decree to start the Imperial Examination again.
Added a confirmation prompt when closing the game window from inside the game.
This prompt will only appear once. If you close the window again, it will no longer be shown.
Added the regional criminal and prison litigation workflow: case reporting, prefectural trial, Provincial Surveillance Commission review, Ministry of Justice review, and Joint Trial by the Three Judicial Offices (requires an imperial decree to initiate the retrial process).
Around 7 days after a case is reported, the prefectural trial will take place.
Around 10–15 days after the prefecture submits the case, the Provincial Surveillance Commission will review it.
Daily case briefs will appear on the 7th day after case reporting or trial, with related message notifications.
Added a Prefectural Yamen scene to the City Market map, with corresponding dynamic story events during the case reporting and trial stages.
Added the ability to issue handwritten imperial instructions to the Ministry of Justice to request details about a specific case, or to demand a retrial / modification of the verdict.
Added memorials from the Ministry of Justice requesting the Emperor’s approval for immediate execution by beheading or strangulation.
Added movement of criminal suspects between local prefectures and Shuntian Prefecture on the Empire Map when cases are transferred between the Ministry of Justice / Three Judicial Offices and the prefectural / Provincial Surveillance Commission review stages.
Optimized departmental sorting for handwritten imperial instructions handled by the Secretariat Drafter.
The system now sorts instructions across all Six Ministries, instead of only assigning them to the Ministry of Personnel, Ministry of Revenue, or Ministry of Rites.
Some Ministry of Revenue affairs may be sorted to the Ministry of Rites or Ministry of Works. To ensure stable assignment to the Ministry of Revenue, please include prompts such as “Let the Ministry of Revenue handle this…” in the handwritten instruction.
Temporarily removed the Mod interface toggle. The game now enables the local WebSocket service port for mods by default.
This is because some mod users were unable to connect their mods to the game due to launch order and similar issues.
At the moment, I cannot help players who have not joined the official group resolve this issue, so the toggle has been temporarily removed. The solution will be improved later when time allows.
But then again, if they have not joined the official group, where did they even download the mods from? Well, anyway, this is the temporary solution for now.
Encyclopedia interface update: closing a card now returns to the historical word cloud; updated the word cloud rearrangement behavior; updated the fixed word cloud distribution.
Added a substitute seal function for imperial edicts handled by the Writing Eunuch.
